Gravity Gravity with protons

Find the gravitational force between two protons kept at a separation of 1 femtometre.

DETAILS AND ASSUMPTIONS:

1) Fine, take the mass of a proton as 1.67 × 1 0 27 1.67\times10^{-27}

1.86 × 1 0 34 1.86\times10^{34} 1.14 × 1 0 34 1.14\times10^{-34} 2.98 × 1 0 34 2.98\times10^{-34} 2.69 × 1 0 34 2.69\times10^{-34} 1.86 × 1 0 34 1.86\times10^{-34} 1.66 × 1 0 34 1.66\times10^{-34} 2.98 × 1 0 34 2.98\times10^{34}

The law of universal gravitation: F = G m 1 × m 2 r 2 F = G\frac{m_1\times m_2}{r^2} Substitute m 1 = m 2 = 1.67 × 1 0 27 , m_1 = m_2 = 1.67\times 10^{-27}, r = 1 × 1 0 15 r = 1\times 10^{-15} and G = 6.67 × 1 0 11 . G = 6.67\times 10^{-11}. F = 6.67 × 1 0 11 ( 1.67 × 1 0 27 ) 2 ( 1 0 15 ) 2 F = 6.67\times 10^{-11}\frac{(1.67\times 10^{-27})^2}{(10^{-15})^2} F = 1.86 × 1 0 34 F = \boxed{1.86\times 10^{-34}}
