Greatest Integer function can also be said as floor function which takes its immediate left hand side integral value on the number line.

So Lets take example of ⌊ 1.203 ⌋ \lfloor{1.203}\rfloor = 1 (As immediate left hand side integral value is 1)

So in case of ⌊ − 3.00001 ⌋ \lfloor{-3.00001}\rfloor = − 4 \boxed{-4} ( Immediate Left hand side value)
