Green Frog Escape

A green frog fell to the bottom of 20 meters well. In each day the frog may jump 1 meter up or take a rest for 1 day where he is. The frog can not stay in one place for more than two days. If the frog manages to escape from the well in 24 days. Find the total number of ways that the frog can make to escape?

The answer = 19 C 4 = \ ^{19}C_4

Remember that the frog will escape once it reaches the last meter, therefore the frog will spend 23 23 days while climbing the first 19 19 meters. So, the frog will stay extra 4 4 days during climbing the first 19 19 meters and then escapes in the 2 4 t h 24^{th} day and the answer is to select 4 4 different places from the first 19 19 meters in which the frog will stay for two days.
