Half life

Suppose that a radioactive material has a half life of 2 days. If there is currently 1 kg of this material, then how much of it will be left after 6 days?

125 g 125 \text{ g} 750 g 750 \text{ g} 500 g 500 \text{ g} 250 g 250 \text{ g}

For every 2 days radioactive material weight reduces to 50% of original weight.

initially weight is 1000g, after 2 days it is reduced to 500g . on 4th day weight will be 250g and finally on 6th day only 125g will be left.
