Handshakes problem
A couple invites 10 other couples to a party at their house. The husband then asks everyone, including his wife, how many people they shook hands with, and everyone questioned (he did not question himself) shook hands with a different number of people. If we assume no one shook hands with his or her partner, how many people did the wife shake hands with?
The answer is 10.
