Hanging wire

A long horizontal wire AB is free to move in a vertical plane and carries a steady current of 20 A , is in equilibrium at a height of 0.01 m over another parallel long wire CD, which is fixed in the horizontal plane and carries a steady current 30 A. If AB is slightly depressed and released it executes S.H.M .Find the time period of oscillations.

The answer is 0.19869.

Acceleration a is related to displacement x as a=-(g/0.01)x. So period of oscillation is 2π√(0.01/g)=2π√(0.01/10)=0.19869... second.

Yup...although you have missed out quite a lot of details....:)
