There's a problem in my Lolo's farm. He don't know how many chickens are roaming around in his poultry. There are 28 total animals in his farm consisting of cows and chickens with a total of 88 feet . How many chickens that the poultry have?

Let x= be the number of chickens in the poultry Let y= be the number of cows in the poultry ;
x+y=28 (Total number of animals ) (2)x+(4)y=88 (2 feet for chicken and 4 feet for a cow)
Using Elimination :
-2(x+y)=28 2x+4y=88
2y=32 y=16
From Eq.1
x+16=28 Then x=12
