Hard Truth

Logic Level 2

There is an island with two type of inhibitors. Some of them are knights ie, they only tell the truth the rest if the population are knaves who never tell the truth.

12 of them came together for a conference which represented both the communities

2 of them said There are exactly 2 knaves among us

4 of them said There are exactly 4 knaves among us

6 of them said There are exactly 6 knaves among us

How man knaves are actually there?

12 4 2 3 6

Knights are united in the truth and by their truths, so all the Knights would say (or imply) the same things and sit in a big, round table together in unity. They would all say the true actual number of knaves that would complement the Knights' own headcount to reach the total population (a Joker / Jester tribe doesn't exist on this island in this universe). So 6 Knights claiming about the existence of another 6 knaves for a total of 6 + 6 = 12 conference attendees must have been the real scenario happening here.
