Ahmed is a 4 ft 11 boy by of age 15. Doctors tell him that his height increase 1/8 of per year till when he turns 17 as a disease occurred. What would his height be when he turns 17 as he has a disease? Certainly not would have been a shortie eh? Or would he? (Find his height when he is 17) Give it in INCHES!

as we calculate compound interest.....similarly on 16th yr and then on 17th yr...//

To find his height, we simply multiply his current height in inches by a factor of 9 8 2 , \frac{9}{8}^2, since he has 2 years to grow until he stops growing at age 17. Thus, the answer is 59 × 81 64 = 74.671875 59\times\frac{81}{64}=\boxed{74.671875} inches.
