Diameter of n th dark newtons ring is D^2=(4Rn wavelength of incident light)/refractiveindex of medium where R= radius of lens. n=order of dark ring. thus D direcly proportional to square root of order of dark ring. so 0.400 0.400/(d20)^2+4/10=0.894 cm. why this is wrong?????
