If ( m + 2 ) x m 2 2 + ( 2 m 1 ) x 7 = 0 (m+2) x^{m^{2}-2} + (2m-1)x -7=0 is a quadratic equation, find the value of m m .

From the moment the equation has to be a quadratic one, the esponent of the first factor of the polinomial should be 2, so m^2-2=2 but m can not be -2 because in that case the first factor would be equal to 0 so m is forcely 2
