Last Saturday, the hideous man spent his $75 to become beautiful but failed to achieve his goal. He has to raise money for his next opportunity. However, there is a penalty for failing to become beautiful after paying money. Each subsequent try is 500% more expensive than the last. That means that he will need a lot more money this time.
Today is Tuesday the 6 TH. His next opportunity will be Saturday the 17 TH. He took a $235 loan (no interest) and bought 47 packs of skittles for $5 each and he is selling each for $27. He must take $7 from from the $27 he makes from each skittles pack he sells everyday and pay it to the company he took the loan from. Then, he will take the rest of the money made and add it to his "Becoming Beautiful" Bank Account. Unfortunately, it is illegal to sell more than 3 items a day. Will he have enough time to raise enough money and pay back the loan before Saturday the 17 TH? If so, what day and date will the ugly man have paid back his loan and what day and date will the ugly man have raised money for his chance to become beautiful on Saturday the 17 TH?
Note: He starts his sale Wednesday the 7 TH and he sells the maximum legal amount everyday. If he does pay back his loan, he still plans to take $7 out of every $27 he makes for each skittles pack everyday and give the money to an organization.
