rate=68km/hr time=225 minutes distance=?

convert 225 minutes to hr= 3.75hrs or 3 3/4 or 15/4 so r=d/t, 68 km/hr(15/4)= 255 km

Its simple....First convert the hours into minutes..i.e = 1 hours = 60 mins So, divide 68 by 60 and then multiply it by 225 mins to just the distance...

We have here a proportion.

In proportion with the ratio 68 kilometers is 60 minutes or 68 : 60

We look for the unknown distance I name as D that is traveled in 225 minutes or D : 225

Since we are basing on the speed and it is proportional to it, we equate the two ratios.

68 : 60 = D : 225

60D = 68 (225)

[60D = 15300]/60

D = 255

1 hour = 60 minutes so, 255 minutes, convert it first to hours, so 255 minutes divided by 60 minutes/hr you will get 3.75 hr. then 3.75 hours multiply by 68 kilometer/hour, cancel hour answer is 255 kilometers

225 minutes = 3 hours and 45 minutes.
For 60 minutes 68 kilometers will be passed. So for 45 minutes 51 kilometers will be passed. For 3 hours 204 kilometers will be passed. For 225 minutes 255 kilometers will be passed.

1 hour = 60 min 68 km in 1 hour so,
225 min = 3.75 hours Now, 68 x 3.75 = 255 Answer

In 1 hour, i.e. 60 minutes, ===== 68 kms

Therefore, in 225 minutes, ===== (225*68)/60

=15300/60

=255

68 KM per Hour. 225 min = 3.75 hrs (225/60) . in 225 min it can go = 3.75 * 68 KM = 255 KM

68 (km) = 60 (minutes) x (km) = 225 (minutes)

therefore, x = ((225 x 68)/60) 255 km

Speed = 68 km/h = 68 k m 60 m i n = 68 60 \frac{68 km}{60 min} = \frac{68}{60} km/min

So, Distance travelled in 225 min = S p e e d × T i m e Speed \times Time = 68 60 × 225 = 17 × 15 = 255 \frac{68}{60} \times 225 = 17 \times 15 = 255

68:60min::x:225 so, find x... x=225/60*68 therefore ,x=255

time = distance/speed; distance= time * speed given that: time 225 min = 225/60 hrs speed = 68 km/hr distance = 68*(225/60)= 255km

hello...!! please follow me and vote my answer :). first convert minutes in hours.. 225 min = 3 hours and 45 min!! now!! , if Bog standard travels 68 km in 1 hour so he will travel; 204 km in 3 hours(180 min), 34 km in half hour(30 min), 17 km in quarter hour (15 min). Now simply add these values . . . 204 + 34 + 17 = 255. 255 k m i n 225 m i n \boxed{255 km in 225 min} thanks ..

distance traveled in 1 hour=68 km distance traveled in 60minutes=68 km so in 1 minute=68/60 km and in 225 minutes it will travel=68*225/60 km=255km

225min * 1hr/60min=3.75hr

3.75hr * 68 km/hr=255

Given Speed of the Bog Standard is 68KM/Hr

Now on converting 225 min to hr

225min=3.75hr

So,  (3.75 \times 68\ ) = (\boxed{255} )

Here t= 225 minutes= 225/60 hours, v= 68 kilometers per hour so d = v t = 225 68 60 k m = 255 k m d= vt = \frac{225*68}{60} \ km \ = 255 km

Well you divide 225 by 60 to give how many kilometres in 1 hour. Then you simply times by 68 to give how far the Bog Standard travels at in 225 minutes.

Velocity=Distance/Time.
Velocity=68km/h. Distance=x. Time=225 minutes. Converting 225 minutes to hours, it gives us 3,75 hours. Then, we apply it and so 68=x/3,75 :. x=255 km.

it is write 255km
