How fast is the sedan?

In the above diagram, an ambulance moving at a constant speed of 20 m/s 20 \text{ m/s} generates a sound of frequency 1080 Hz . 1080 \text{ Hz}. Calvin is chasing the ambulance in his sedan at a constant speed. If the frequency of the sound measured by Calvin from his car is 1050 Hz , 1050 \text{ Hz}, then what is the speed of Calvin's sedan?

The speed of sound in the air is 340 m/s . 340 \text{ m/s}.

15.0 15.0 m/s 10.0 10.0 m/s 5.0 5.0 m/s 20.0 20.0 m/s

1050=((340+V)/(340+20))*1080

if your speed was 10m/s, then you would probably hear the sound into its descending frequency... remember for the constant speed.. so I think its still 20m/s and only the distance matters..
