It is given that when we add three-quarters of the number of apples Ram have to three-quarters of an apple , you will get the number of apples Ram have . So let the number of apples be x x .

3 x 4 + 3 4 = x \frac{3x}{4} + \frac{3}{4} = x

\Rightarrow 3 x + 3 4 = x \frac{3x + 3}{4} = x

\Rightarrow 3 x + 3 = 4 x 3x + 3 = 4x

\Rightarrow x = 3 x = 3

Therefore , number of apples Ram have is 3 .

Ram, there should not be a space before punctuation marks such as period or full-stop (.), comma (,), question mark (?), etc.

It is a standard for most languages if not all for hundreds of years, used by millions of people. It is marked as grammatically wrong in Microsoft Word. If you don't stick the punctuation marks with the text in front, it can appear on separate line it is really untidy. Not doing it only shows that you have no experience in writing. It will also give bad impression to the markers of your exam papers or readers of your letters, which can be your application for admission to a university or for a job. Use the best practice and not your preference.
