At a party are 25 girls and boys. One boy danced with 6 girls, the second one with 7 girls, the 3rd one with 8 girls, the 4th with 9 girls etc. The last boy danced with all the girls. How many girls are at the party?

Boy no.1-- 6 girls , Boy no.2--7 girls , Boy no.3--8 girls , Boy no.4--9 girls . If you've observed, the difference between Boys and Girls is 5. So now we could have: b= The no. of boys , g= The no. of girls.
g+b=25 g=b+5 2b=20 b=10 so girls are 10+5=15
