couple means 4legs cat has 4 legs so in each car five cats and a couple, it means 24 legs in each car total five cars so total legs= 5*24=120

we only need to follow the counting technique

so,

we know a couple means a pair.............so one couple include a boy and a girl. that means 4 legs in all.

we have 5 cars. So, multiply 4 with 5 and we get 20 ( because we have 5 couples and 5 cars which means 4 legs in 1 car each!!)

next we have 5 cats in each car which means 20 legs in one car( since 5 cats , 4 legs of one cat . multiply 5 with 4)

now multiply 20 with 5= 100( as we have 2o legs of cats and 5 cars). now totaling the legs of cats and couples= 100+20= 120

Just find the number of legs in each car them multiply it with 5

so

Number of legs in 1 car=24

total number of legs=24x5=120legs

There may have been fewer than 5 cars.
