First remember the multiples of 11.That are 11,22,33,44,55,66,77,88,99,110. the first 9 are between 1-100 so the correct answer is 9

11 1=11 11 2=22 11 3=33 11 4=44 11 5=55 11 6=66 11 7=77 11 8=88 11*9=99 and count them u'll know the answer =9

11*9=99, which is between 1 to 100, hence 9 is the correct.

its like if the question was saying:"What are the numbers that result in the multiplication table of the number 11?" so you simply multiply 11 by the numbers from 1-10, and because 11 multiplied by 10 equals 110 we neglect the answer because its more than the specified range- that is from 1 to 100-: 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99
