How much brighter is the sun?

How much brighter is sunlight than moonlight? The albedo (reflectivity) of the Moon is α = 0.07 \alpha = 0.07 .

Hint : Suppose that the sunlight falling on the Moon is diffusely reflected with the given coefficient. Calculate how much of it reaches unit area of the Earth.

albedo=Eout/Ein From here we can know that total energy that 'out' from the moon surface is about 7 percent from energy that enter the moon (energy of the sun).

Energy per total area are called Luminosity. But distance influences the total energy so we need to know new formula which is Luminosity/(4.pi.(distances.distances)) where we call F.

The brightness of 'thing' usually known from it's luminosity but remember that distances also influence the energy it means also the brightness.

Formula for F is 4.pi.(radius.radius).Energy/(4.pi.distances.distances). Knowing radius of moon and sun also those distance you will get the answer (about 1:1000.000).

they should provide mathematical value of

radius of moon and sun

Estimate the order of magnitudes. Not rigorous but it works.
