Price of the article after discount = 6500÷100×85 = 5100

Price of the article after adding tax = 5100÷100×110 = 5610

The problem is a bit confusing, since the tax isn't included in the prize. However, firstly we need to calculate the prize of the object after taking away the discount: 6000 × 0.85 = 5100 6000\times 0.85 = 5100 . Now we just add 10% of this new prize to it and get 5100 + 5100 × 0.1 = 5610 5100 + 5100\times 0.1 = \boxed{5610} .
