My parents told us that the product of my age and my twin little brothers was 171 a year ago. Can you help me how old I am now?

But how can twins have different ages????
A year ago, the required age product is just ( x − 1 ) ( y − 1 ) 2 = 1 7 1 ⇒ x = 1 + ( y − 1 ) 2 1 7 1 = 1 + ( y − 1 ) 2 3 2 1 9 1 . We obtain an integer when y = 4 ⇒ x = 1 + 3 2 3 2 1 9 1 = 1 + 1 9 = 2 0 .
its so easy ya...!
171=19x9 The ages are 19,3 and 3.So the age right now= 1 2 3
I just looked for the prime factors of 171, and I found (3^2)(19). :D

171 could be written as 9*19 , that is 19 (can't be further factories) is age 1 year ago so the answer is 20
