It doesn't even require solving. Only one pair - 22,17 has a difference of 5...

Let the age of feliciano be x years hence feliamer's age is (x-5). now 2 years ago the sum of their ages was 35. hence (x-2)+(x-5-2)=35. Solving this we get x=22 and hence feliciano's age is 22 so feliamer's age is 17

and here comes the equation ,before 2 years 5x+x=35 (1 )x+5=feliciano = 20 (2)x=feliamer = 15 and ... after 2 years (1) felicano = 20 + 2 = 22 (2)feliamer = 15 +2 = 17 :D

Let Feliciano =x + 5 and let Feliamer = x 35 =there total age 2 years ago Feliciano= (x+5)-2 Feliamer = x-2

(X+5)-2+x-2=35 x+5-2+x-2=35 2x+1=35 2x=34 Divide by 2 = 17

x+5 17+5=22
