How old are you ?

Let the ages( in years) of the man, his son and his grandson be respectively X, Y and Z. by the given information X+Y+Z=120 and X=12 Z Y=7 z therefore Z=6 thus x=72.

Let m be my age in years. If s is my son's age in years, then my son is 52s weeks old. If g is my grandson's age in years, then my grandson is 365g days old. Thus, 365g = 52s. Since my grandson is 12g months old, 12g = m. Since my grandson, my son and I together are 120 years, g + s + m = 120. The above system of 3 equations in 3 unknowns (g, s and m) can be solved as follows. m / 12 + 365 m / (52 x 12) + m = 120 or 52 m + 365 m + 624 m = 624 x 120 or m = 624 x 120 / 1041 = 72. So, I am 72 years old.

IF BOY IS OF X DAYS THAN HE WILL BE OF X/365 YEAR AND HIS FATHER WILL BE OF X/52 YEAR AND HIS GRAND FATHER WILL BE X/52 BY ADDING AND EQUATING THESE THREE WITH 120 WE GET X=2181 AND NOW GRAND FATHER AGE= X/30=72

When the grandson get 6 years, the son get 42 years and the age we want to know is 72 years. Of course we can say that the age of the son 7 times the age of the grandson is. And the age of the person we want to know the age of is 12 times the age of the grandson. So 1 *(age) + 7 *(age) + 12 *(age) = 20 * age = 120. So the age of the grandson is 6 years.

Let, Son=x weeks(=7x days),hence, GS=x days(=x/30 months), hence, Me=(x/30)years i.e. (365x/30)days. Now, 7x+x+(365x/30)=120*365 => x=2171.90 hence, my age is= (x/30)years=(2171.90/30)years=72.396 years=72 years Ans. 72 years old.
