( 2 + x ) 10 + ( 2 + x ) 9 ( 1 + x ) + ( 2 + x ) 8 ( 1 + x ) 2 + . . . + ( 1 + x ) 10 (2+x)^{10} + (2+x)^9(1+x)+(2+x)^8(1+x)^2+...+(1+x)^{10} = ( 2 + x ) 11 ( 1 + x ) 11 ( 2 + x ) ( 1 + x ) = ( 2 + x ) 11 ( 1 + x ) 11 = \frac{(2+x)^{11} - (1+x)^{11}}{(2+x) - (1+x)} = (2+x)^{11} - (1+x)^{11}

This implies that the x 9 x^9 term coefficient is ( 11 9 ) 2 2 ( 11 9 ) = 165 {11 \choose 9}2^2 - {11 \choose 9} = \boxed{165}
