The pressure of a gas of volume 22.4 L is 3 atm at certain temperature.Then find the pressure of the gas of volume 44.8 L at the same temperature.

1.5 atm 6 atm 6.5 atm 4.5 atm None of the above

Here we use the Ideal Gas Equation \text{Ideal Gas Equation} \rightarrow

P V = n R T \large\color{#3D99F6}{PV=nRT}

Now since no. of moles n n , temperature of the gas T T and the universal gas constant, R R are all constants, hence our equation reduces to \rightarrow

P V = c o n s t a n t \large\color{#3D99F6}{PV=constant}

Therefore as per the problem, when the volume is doubled , the pressure needs to be halved . Hence the answer is 1.5 a t m \large\color{#D61F06}{\boxed{1.5 atm }}
