Ice Cream Bars

On a nice summer day, you have two ice cream bars, one brown and one white. Each bar is identical in surface area, volume, and consistency.

Which bar will melt faster?

Assume that each bar has a similar composition.

White They should melt at about the same rate Brown

Assuming the summer day is sunny, it will absorb light more, therefore melt as it gets warmer faster.

However, if the two have the same composition, you can't have one of them brown and the other white.

We assume that the weather is sunny. The white color reflects light while dark color (especially black) absorbs light. So the dark chocolate melts faster.
