Ice cream with wrappers !!!!

Algebra Level 2

Here is an interesting problem!

An ice-cream costs Re.1. And if you give 3 wrappers you will get 1 ice-cream. I give you Rs.27.

What is the maximum number of ice-creams you can buy?

36 it is confusing !! 27 40

okay, for those who thought it is confusing here is the answer !!! Rs.27 means 27 ice-creams + (27/3) ice-creams{ because 3 wrapper is 1 ice-cream} !!! So, total = 36 :)

I differ with you Sai Manohar the actual answer will be 40 how is as follows initially we have 27rs we get 27 ice creams and we left with 27 wrappers which again will bring 27/3=9 and again 9/3=3 and at last we will get another with the last 3 wrappers so totally 27+9+3+1=40

Thanks. I have updated the answer to 40 instead.
