6 × 10 = 3 × 2 × 2 × 5 6×10=3×2×2×5 so three distinct factors are 3 , 2 , 5 3,2,5 hence correct answer is 3 \boxed{3}

6 10=3 2^2*5. We count number of prime factors(ignore the power) 2,3,5 are the factors so the answer is 3
