The pattern: 25 = 11 × 2 + 3 55 = 25 × 2 + 5 117 = 55 × 2 + 7 245 = 117 × 2 + 11 \displaystyle \begin{aligned} 25 &= 11 \times 2 + 3 \\ 55 &= 25 \times 2 + 5 \\ 117 &= 55 \times 2 + 7 \\ 245 &= 117 \times 2 + 11 \end{aligned}

Yah, even I thought the same, but the series is not complete. In the series of 3, 5, 7 .... the next number should be 9 not 11. Don't you think the last number in specified pattern should have been 243.
