i guessed the solution...!!! splitting the terms... 583 as 5+8+3=16, 293 as 2+9+3= 14.......the difference between the term is 2. similarly, 488 as 4+8+3 = 20, 378 as 3+7+8= 18........the difference between the term is 2

This is 9th class IMO 2nd level question, you should have written it in italics below the problem....Anyways, the best method I found was that their sum must be even.....
