But Pope Julius II insisted that none other than Michelangelo should paint paint the chapel's ceiling. A craftsman of impressive speed, Michelangelo set himself to finishing the project in 4 years. The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel measures 40 meters long by 13 meters wide. If Michelangelo paints 11 square meters of the ceiling each month, can he finish in time?

It will take him 45 × 12 10 = 1 \frac{ 45 \times 12 } { 10 } = 1 months.

I thought it would be (40*13)/11(12) = 3.93 (recurring) years.
