Moving one matchstick from the " + + " sign could give 6 − 4 ≠ 4 6-4\neq 4

or from the " 6 6 " 5 + 4 = 9 5+4=9

which both work (with a bit of licence on the " 9 9 ") - any others?

You could also do 0 + 4 = 4 0+4=4 or 8 − 4 = 4 8-4=4 .
