In every pair of two rows there are 8 8 numbers, so let's look at the remainder of 1000 1000 whem divided by 8 8 . This is 0 0 because 1000 = 8 125 + 0 1000 = 8 \cdot 125 + 0 . If we search multiples of 8 8 we find 8 8 and 16 16 in the second column where we will also find 2018.

But,how there are 8 numbers in every column?
