Suppose you are in a palace, you see 5 soldiers inside the palace. Each soldier has 5 rooms. And each room has 5 tigers. also each tiger has 5 tiger cubs.

How many legs are there in the palace?

Go in the reverse order of the statement given in the question. At first calculate the no. of legs for cubs, then add that of tiger and then multiply by 5 and finally add 2 ( that of soldier's). This will give total no. of legs for one soldier with his roommates. Multiplying this number by 5 will give for all soldiers. Finally, DON'T FORGET TO ADD "2" to the number because you are also there in the palace.....
