Don't forget the negative values too. The largest has to be 9 which is 81 but the smallest is -9 which also squares to 81. Therefore, 9 - (-9) = 9+9 = 18

I made the same mistake tricky.....................

The maximum value is +9; the minimum value is -9. The difference is 9 - (-9) = 18.
