Inteligent Astronaut

NASA desided to send an astronaut on a planet to research on it.While researching he got the order from his boss to find the value of acceleration due to gravity on that planet.But suddenly he realized that he don't have nassassery instruments to do so so he used an ulternate mathod. He took a stone and allowed it to fall freely from a hight of 45m under the gravitational pull of that planet.If time taken by the stone to reach the serface of that planet was 3s, find out the acceleration due to gravity at that planet

t = 2 h g t=\sqrt{\frac{2h}{g}}

3 = 2.45 g 3=\sqrt{\frac{2.45}{g}}

9 = 90 g 9=\frac{90}{g}

g = 10 m / s 2 g=10m/s^2
