Its quite interesting. The question may seem lengthy but the final expression is very small.

In the given relation replace n by n+1.

Eliminate a1,a2,a3,....an to get a relation between a(n+1) and n.

At the end you will find that a(n)=n

So the summation becomes n*(n+1)/2

Put n=100
