Let the numbers be x and y.

x + y = 10 x+y=10 x y = 20 xy=20 x + y x y = 10 20 \frac{x+y}{xy}=\frac{10}{20} 1 x + 1 y = 1 2 \frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{y}=\boxed{\frac{1}{2}}
