Let $i = e^{i \cdot \frac{\pi}{2}}$ so that $i^i = (e^{i \cdot \frac{\pi}{2}})^i = e^{i^2 \cdot \frac{\pi}{2}} = e^{-\frac{\pi}{2}} \approx \boxed{0.208}.$
