it doubles everyday.

so, it must be half before the day it will fill the all area.

If in the 20th day the Lilly is at it's actual size, in 19th day it has a half size

IF every next day it is double for twenty days

the previous day will be half which is the 19th day

on first day it was 1 on second day=2 on 3rd day =4... therefore, it will be on 19th day as everyday it is 1/2 the previous day

on 1st day=1 on second=2 on 3rd=4... therefore, it will be 19thday as everyday it is 1/2 the previous day

As we know that, 2 = double and

1/2 = half.

Thus if it become double every next day then it will become half every previous day.
