Invisible Counting

You have 2 six-sided dice whose faces are numbered from 1 to 6. You count the number of spots on ALL visible faces, and get a total of 35. What is the sum of spots on the two bottom faces which are invisible?

Clarification: When you roll a dice, there is only 1 face invisible.

6 7 5 8

A die has 6 sides and the opposite sides add up to 7, therefore, there are 3 sets of 7, so each die adds up to 21.

The total of the 2 dice is 42. As the visible faces add up to 35, we can say that the other sides add up to 7 \boxed{7} (because 42 35 = 7 42-35=7 )

Its an easy one We know that 1±2+3+4+5+6=21 2 dices = 42 Therefore, 42-35=7
