What is the sum of the real solutions for the following equation: x 2 + x + 5 = 2 + x 2 + x 11 ? \sqrt{x^2+x+5}=2+\sqrt{x^2+x-11}?

just squaring on both sides

You can try substituting value of x with 4 which solves the issue.....

Square on both sides, then use the formula to find the sum of roots that is -b/a, hence the answer is -1
