Is 2+2=4??

Algebra Level 2

Here is a proof to prove that

2 + 2=5

Step 1 - 0=0

Step 2 - n-n=n-n

Step 3 - 2(n-n)=3(n-n)

Step 4 - 2=3 ( Since n-n=n-n)

Step 5 - 2+2=2+3=5

In the above proof, where is the flaw ?

There is no flaw, the proof is correct Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 1

We cannot divide n-n by n-n since n-n=0 and 0 0 \frac{0}{0} is not defined.

Nice one, similar to my question I just posted. This is one of the most common mistakes people commit.
