Can we completely fill an infinite sized floor using a positive and finite number of equilateral triangle shaped tiles, and any number of square shaped tiles?
Both of these tiles have the same side length.

Since in an equilateral triangle, all angles are equal to 60, we can say that using only triangles, we cant fill it. In square , all angles are 90, so it could alone fill the area. We have an infinitely large area, we will always have some fraction of area remaining no matter what we do.
