Is the block moving???

A block of mass 12 kg is kept on a horizontal table. If the static friction coefficient is 0.4 and kinetic friction coefficient is 0.3, then calculate the frictional force acting on the block. Take acceleration due to gravity as 10.

frictional force acting on the block is zero . As friction is a relative force and acts on a body only when it is moving, in this case the force of friction is zero as the block is kept on the table.

I don't get the Take acceleration due to gravity as 10 part
