First of all krichoff law is just used to determine potential difference . This law dosenot justify any type of circuit . Now the potential drop against 1 ohm resistance is 0.5 volt because D to volt battery is not involved in the circuit as the circuit is not complet for 2 volt battery so the net potential drop against the unclosed loop is minus two plus point Five equals two minus 1.5
