Or we can replace x by x+6 ( as 6 is the mid value bw 1 and 11) and hence will subtract 6 from limits. This will give us new limits as -4 and 4 and new function formed will be an odd function and hence using property of definate integration, the above integral becomes 0 .

Using the property of integration replacing x by 2+10-x so adding the given equation and replaced equation we get 2I = 0 , So I = 0 .
