Incircles also relate well with themselves. If r 1 , r 2 , r 3 r_1, r_2, r_3 are the radii of the three circles tangent to the incircle and two sides of the triangle, then

r = r 1 r 2 + r 2 r 3 + r 3 r 1 r=\sqrt{r_1r_2}+\sqrt{r_2r_3}+\sqrt{r_3r_1} .

In our case
r = 1 4 + 1 9 + 4 9 = 11 r=\sqrt{1*4}+\sqrt{1*9}+\sqrt{4*9}=\boxed{11} .
