  • 0 OR 0 is 0.
  • NOT 0 is 1.
  • So, X is 1.

**Here is a more interesting answer :

~ 11 cannot be the answer as binary circuits give only 0 or 1 as output.

~ 0 and 00 ( and 000 ... ) are all same and mean 0 i.e. false. ~But this question has only one correct answer.

The only choice remaining is 1, which also seems quite reasonable to those who know about digital circuits and can easily identify the NOR gate.

Totally agreeable. This is how I solved it. I was planning to post the answer but this outweighed my reasoning :)

apart from all the inputs were zero the result will be zero ,Its a NOR gate where (A + B) inverse = X, apart from all the inputs were zero the result will be zero , 0 * 0 = 1
