Thanks. You should use \ [ \ ] instead of \ ( ) then the formulas will turn out well. Also put a backslash \ before all functions such as \sin x (\sin x), \cos x cos x , \tan x tan x , \sec x sec x , \cot x cot x , \csc x csc x . Notice the text is not italic and there is a space between the function and x. Notice without backslash, sin x s i n x , cos x c o s x , tan x t a n x , sec x s e c x , cot x c o t x , csc x c s c x .
